CoinPoker Prepares to Launch Its Largest Crypto Giveaway in History: Global Online Poker Championship

The crypto storm has not been brewing as experts forecasted since the beginning of 2026, which is why many have taken solace in poker, especially on trusted online platforms such as CoinPoker.

What has made CoinPoker particularly attractive is not far-fetched. Unlike most competitors, the top-tier poker room has consistently rolled out a stream of valuable tournaments and promotions to help crypto players make the most of their assets amid the bear market.

Headlining this championship is a $50,000,000 guaranteed schedule, featuring 700-plus medal events, tiered Main Events, and more, all integrated into three regional prime-time windows.

Unsurprisingly, discussions regarding the series have already dominated various online poker communities, led by CoinPoker ambassadors, including Bobby James, Mario Mösbock, and 2025 WSOP winner Benjamin Rolle.

CoinPoker Unveils Next Major Poker Series With $50M Guarantee

After dominating multiple headlines with its previous major series, CoinPoker is keen on keeping the fire burning.

Its upcoming series, dubbed the GOPC, is poised to become the biggest tournament in its history, featuring a record-breaking $50,000,000 guaranteed prize pool.

“The Global Online Poker Championship was built to be our biggest tournament series, but also, our most accessible to the world’s players,” a CoinPoker spokesperson confirmed. “Three regional schedules and three buy-in tiers mean more players can compete during their local primetime, at whatever stakes suit them.”

What also makes the championship unique is its Olympic-style format. It features more than 700 events, where Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals will be distributed to players. That design adds an extra layer of prestige to the entire competition without sacrificing cash rewards.

At the same time, the GOPC introduces three regional tournament schedules anchored to primetime in Asia, Europe, and Latin America. What this means is that poker stalwarts in the Asia Pacific region won’t have to stay up until odd hours to participate in the championship, as events will be scheduled around their local primetime.

The same applies to players in Latin America and Europe. So, regardless of location, players can rest assured that there is a schedule tailored to their time zone.

Core tournaments will be accessible across three buy-in tiers, with each tier awarding the same medals, and winners in each of them will receive physical awards alongside digital versions in their CoinPoker Trophy Cabinet.

Additional rewards are also planned, though details remain sketchy for now.

Considering its inclusive scheduling and large prize pool, it won’t be surprising if this series surpasses both the Battle of Malta Online and World Poker Masters in terms of entries, participation, and drama.

Mösbock already anticipates this, which is why he feels it could be “hands down best online poker experience.”

So, by the end, CoinPoker says it will have awarded more than $133 million in tournament prizes across its major 2026 poker festivals.

Major GOPC Events Announced So Far

As of today, the full schedule for the GOPC has yet to be released. But, early teasers from CoinPoker have already offered a glimpse of some of the major events players can look forward to. They include:

Tiered Main Events

The entire series will be led by three Main Events, each with a different buy-in, to accommodate players across all levels.

There is the $530 Main Event, specially reserved for high-stakes players and tournament pros. Basically, it comes with a guarantee of $3,000,000, and the top three performers will receive Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals.

Day 1 flights for this event are scheduled mostly on Sundays. However, players will have three additional flights on other days, spread across different time zones. Day 2 is scheduled for September 28th at 17:30 UTC.

Second is the $55 Global Main, carrying a $1,000,000 prize pool. Qualification flights are available daily, and survivors will advance to Day 2 on September 21 to battle for a share of the prize pool, as well as Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals.

Finally, there is the $11 Mini Main, featuring a $250,000 prize pool.

It also offers daily flights, and Day 2 will take place on September 21.

$1M CoinMillion GOPC Edition

CoinMillion is now a monthly highlight on CoinPoker, following its dramatic debut during the World Poker Masters and subsequent run in the Battle of Malta Online Series.

The August edition went live yesterday, and unsurprisingly smashed the cap of 4,000 entries before the end of late registration.

The next edition, however, has been folded into the GOPC calendar, providing an extra opportunity for players to claim six-figure prizes, real trophies, and a place in CoinPoker’s history.
